Manchester is the UKs largest airport outside of London and it is the first to have a ‘recycling zone.’ They are aiming to recycle an additional 200 tonnes of passenger waste from the terminals each year by working in conjunction with Coca Cola.

The Box Cycle was developed for Edinburgh University, a project with the aim of increasing their already excellent recycling rate of 63%. The idea of having fully clear bodies was to increase the visibility of the recycled material, to make it as obvious as possible which bin their litter should go in.

We were successful in our bid to supply the recycling units to meet Glasgow’s tender requirements. These recycling units were powder coated in a non-standard colour to match existing recycling units already in place, making them instantly recognisable to the public.
