About the Contour Litter Bin with Iroko Wood Panels

The Contour Litter Bin With Iroko Wood Panels

This 112-litre litter bin is manufactured from 2mm hot-dipped galvanised steel, primed and powder coated in your choice of RAL colour. Galvanised steel is known for its rust and corrosion-resistant properties, and powder coating adds a protective layer to protect the unit from scuffs. Combining both processes means our Contour Litter Bin Range is durable and reliable.

The FSC certified Iroko wood panels are fixed to the front and back of the bin, providing a stylish design that doesn’t compromise the durability of the unit – Iroko wood is tough and isn’t susceptible to rotting like other styles of wood.

The Contour Litter Bin comes with a choice of galvanised steel frame colours and a choice of clear, light or dark stained hardwood panels. You can take a look at our finishes and colour range here. You can also use perspex plates to define your waste stream or have bespoke artwork made to add to your bin.

This bin comes with an internal galvanised steel liner, slam lock for reliable security and easy-to-use T-key. We recommend using rawl bolts to ground fix the bin, and it comes with a pre-drilled base for your convenience. Fixing options can be found in the data sheet below.

We recommend placing this bin outside of shopping centres, parks and in contemporary developments such as office buildings and apartments. The bin has a contemporary look and feel, making it an ideal choice for modern urban areas and landscapes.

Looking for something bigger? This bin also comes as a double or triple unit for increased waste capacity and segregation.

FAQs

  • What is this bin manufactured from?

This litter bin is manufactured from 2mm hot dipped galvanised steel, primed and powder coated in your choice of RAL colour. Hardwood Iroko panels are fitted to the front and back of the bin to give it a warm and stylish feel. We think it looks great in parks and outside modern buildings.

Large apertures to the front and back maximise the 112 litre capacity.

  • How do I empty this bin?

The Contour Litter Bin comes complete with a 112 litre capacity L1 Galvanised Steel Liner. Simply unlock the door using the easy to use T Key and pull out the liner to empty the bin. External handles make pulling out the liner quick and easy, and once the bag has been replaced, simply push the liner back in and a firm push on the door will lock it back in place.

  • Can I customise this bin?

The Contour Litter Bin comes with a choice of galvanised steel frame colours and a choice of clear, light or dark stained hardwood panels.
