The RLA/1 is a semi-open top litter bin, manufactured from robust glass fibre concrete with a lockable front opening door.
TheRLA/1 is a semi-open top litter bin, manufactured from glass reinforced concrete with a lockable front opening door.
As this bin is made from glass reinforced concrete (GRC), it comes with a choice of paint finishes and colours. Our standard is a PTX textured paint that gives a rough ‘sandpaper’ like finish, designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters being applied.
You could opt for a smoother pseudo-cast iron finish which is the smoother option with only a slight texture and no roughness, take a look at our colour options in the product form below.
The traditional styling of the RLA and the large 154 litre capacity makes this bin perfect for heritage sites and town centres. These bins can also be placed in coastal locations as glass fibre isn’t affected by saltwater or extreme weather conditions.

All of our products come with a 2 year parts and labour guarantee as standard.
Our Galvanised steel products feature a 12 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC. We estimate that this item will be with you within TBC from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.

The door on the RLA/1 is secured with two budget locks on the right and left hand side, these can be unlocked using a budget lock key which is included with the unit. Once the door is opened, the twin L10 Galvanised Steel Liners can be removed and emptied.
The RLA/1 comes as standard with a moulded ‘LITTER’ plate to the front, available in gold or silver. Optional flaps can also be fitted to the aperture to prevent animals from getting inside the bin.
