A successful siting for Wybone in Scotland

October 24, 2017

Throughout October, we conducted a siting project across four weeks at the new Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary.

In 2013, Dumfries & Galloway NHS Trust set out to reshape health services, which lead to the development of a new District General Hospital within a modern, patient focused and highly efficient environment. Construction began in March 2015, and is set for completion in December this year.

The Trust contacted us here at Wybone for over 5,000 Eco Sackholders to be distributed at this new hospital.

The Eco Sackholder was specifically designed for Scotland, and offers the same great level of quality but with an eco-friendly design that allows us to pass on significant cost savings.

Manufactured from galvanised steel, this clinical waste bin is corrosion resistant and has anti-microbial coating to minimise the spread of infection.

The lid sits flush within the frame of the sackholder for a smooth finish, and an optional gas strut can be fitted to ensure that the lid closes softly for those quieter wards.

Our team travelled all the way from our headquarters in Barnsley to Scotland to deliver and site the units for the Trust, and we received some great feedback!

“We wanted to pass on our thanks for the highly efficient service received from your siting team; they were very organised and conducted themselves in a professional and efficient manner throughout the four weeks they were here.”

We offer a full siting service for large orders, which involves delivering, unpacking and distributing the bins; we put in the work, so you don’t have to!

If you would like to speak to us about siting service, feel free to call us on 01226 352333 or send us an email to [email protected] and we’d be more than willing to help.
