HEFMA host their branch meeting at Wybone HQJuly 19, 2018
We welcomed the Northern & Yorkshire branch of HEFMA to our offices here in Barnsley for their latest branch meeting. We make sure all of our guests are looked after when they come to visit, from hosting the venue to providing lunch!
We have a longstanding relationship with the Health Estates and Facilities Management Association (HEFMA) who are a branch based network of Estates and Facilities Professionals working in the NHS.
HEFMA members are responsible for the management of the day-to-day operation, maintenance and support services of all hospitals within an NHS Trust. A number of the attendees purchase our sackholders for their NHS Trusts. Our Northern Sales Manager Emma showed our guests around our sackholder show room during their break, which showcases our extensive range of clinical waste bins.
After their branch meeting, our guests took a tour of our sackholder department to see how the clinical waste bins they buy are manufactured – a tour of our factory offers a unique insight into our manufacturing processes and the high-tech equipment we use.
June Cadman sent us her compliments, “Could I just say a big thank you for your hospitality in allowing us to hold our HEFMA meeting at your site and providing refreshments for us. We were not expecting the numbers that attended, so we were very grateful that you were able to accommodate us further.”
“We had an extremely useful meeting with the Environment Agency, and thank you to Emma and Andrew in accompanying us on a visit of the workshops – it was most interesting to see how the bins are made and the efficiency of the production line. On behalf of the HEFMA Waste Sub Group, thank you again!”
We’ve been manufacturing clinical waste bins since 1973 and have successfully held the contract for the supply of sackholders to the NHS since 1998. Our range of sackholders are available in metal, plastic or a hybrid combination of both materials. Take a look at the production process in our latest video.
