Anti social behaviour varies from noise nuisance to vandalism, this includes littering. Bus shelters and litter bins are the most common on-street products to be defaced by vandals; our range of litter bins are vandal resistant designed and built to withstand severe impact.
The STS/2AV Anti Vandal Litter Bin features a unique design not often seen on traditional litter bins, manufactured from 2mm thick galvanised steel, with a robust 40mm x 40mm steel box section frame.
The hot dipped durable galvanised steel frame ensures a secure manufacture and makes the bin difficult to damage, with V shaped galvanised steel slats around the bin that offer extra strength.
As with all of our galvanised steel litter bins, the STS/2AV comes with a standard 1 year parts and labour guarantee and a 10 year anti-perforation warranty, this guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
This bin is perfect for busy environments such as parks and communal areas where anti social behaviour is prominent.
The STS/AVW Wooden Anti Vandal Litter Bin is a stylish wooden clad litter bin. The attractive curved lid design serves to discourage anti social behaviour, as this prevents people sitting on the top or leaving rubbish on it.
This bin is available in natural, light or dark Iroko wood finishes. You could also opt for black recycled plastic as an alterative option. Two wide apertures allow the bin to be accessed from both sides, with a 112-litre capacity to collect large volumes of waste.
With its stylish and contemporary design, we also think the STS/AVW Litter Bins look great outside shopping centres and universities.
Optional extended legs are available on both anti-vandal bins and can be fitted to allow the bin to be set into concrete for extra stability and security.
Our glass fibre composite litter bins have high impact strength, some of our units have been in situ for the best part of two decades and are ideal for areas prone to vandalism.
A traditional design such as our LBV/20, is unaffected by adverse weather conditions, which means it can be placed in coastal seaside towns and busy city centres, and will remain unaffected for years to come.
Our glass fibre litter bins come as standard with a PTX textured paint that gives a rough ‘sandpaper’ like finish, designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters being applied.
