The 28-Litre Open Clinical Waste Bin
Our open clinical waste bins are specifically designed for healthcare premises where heavy, wet refuse is produced. These healthcare bins are a popular choice for kitchens.
Manufactured from galvanised steel, this healthcare bin has excellent durability with rust and corrosion resistant features. The 28-litre capacity makes this unit ideal for narrow areas with reduced space and is easy to move around. Covered in anti-microbial coating, this bin is foot pedal-operated, offering a hygienic solution to clinical waste.
The bags, once full, can be removed from below therefore minimising any manual handling risks. The bin includes a strong sack retention frame so you don’t have to worry about bags slipping out.
This healthcare bin is also available in 42 litres or 80 litres with a choice of lid colours to suit your needs.
Please note: the 28 Litre Open Clinical Waste Bin does not conform to HTM 83 Fire Regulations.

So we like to think we know what we’re doing at this point! We continuously work with the NHS, and our customers, to make sure we provide clinical waste bins where staff and patients can get the most out of them.

All of our products come with a 2 year parts and labour guarantee as standard.
Our Galvanised steel products feature a 12 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC. We estimate that this item will be with you within 3 weeks from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.
