This 80 Litre Hybrid Sackholder is part of our NHS range of clinical and domestic waste bins that is manufactured from a combination of materials to give you the best of both worlds!
The Contour Galvanised Steel Litter Bin provides a premium waste collection point for internal or external areas. Manufactured from high quality 2mm hot dipped galvanised steel and powder coated in your choice of colours.
A 112 litre capacity allows rubbish to be deposited via the large apertures which span the full width of the bin. In order for you to fully customise the look of this bin, the frame can be powder coated in either the same or a different colour to the door. Vinyl or laser cut lettering can be added to the front and back of the bin to depict the waste stream or for branding purposes.
This litter bin has been designed with radius corners and a sleek design to look great in modern, landscaped locations. The adaptable design allows you to incorporate litter into your space in a beautiful, functional way.
This bin comes as standard with an internal galvanised steel liner, slam lock and easy to use T-key. We recommend using rawl bolts to ground fix the bin, and it comes with a pre-drilled base for your convenience.
All of our products come with a 1 year parts and labour guarantee as standard.
Our Galvanised steel products feature a 10 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC.
We estimate that this item will be with you within 3 weeks from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.
This clinical sack holder is manufactured from a combination of premium quality, corrosion resistant galvanised steel and ABS grade durable plastic. The lid is formed from galvanised steel to provide a heavy duty lid, while the base is manufactured from plastic to give extra corrosion resistance for instances when the bin is placed in areas such as wet rooms. The body of this sack holder is manufactured from Plastisol (plastic coated steel), or alternatively can be fitted with a transparent body for recycling.
This NHS sack holder is foot pedal operated. The user simply presses the foot pedal to lift the lid so that they can deposit their waste without any skin contact. An optional hands free frame reduces the need to worry about users trying to operate the bin by hand.
This hybrid clinical sack holder is designed to fit an 80 litre sack size.
This Hybrid Sackholder is manufactured to strict standards and conforms to HTM 05-03 Managing Healthcare Fire Safety regulations as set out by the Department of Health. Our closed body sackholders have been independently tested by Exova Warrington Fire Research and we also use Class ‘O’ fire rated Plastisol bodies which meet the strict regulations as set out by the British Board of Agreement.
This sackholder is white as standard, with a choice of lid options available to support the safe management of healthcare waste segregation.
To empty this hybrid clinical sack holder, use the foot pedal to lift the lid of the unit and pull the frame of the lid upwards to release the bag. Simply lift the bag from the top of the unit to empty and replace with a new bag. Fold the sides of the bag over the edges of the bin and pull the frame down to hold it in place again. Release the pedal to put the lid back down. If choosing the removable body option, this aids emptying and allows the body of the unit to be completely removed to take out the waste bag.
If you have chosen to add a front opening body, this further aids manual handling as the bag is lifted out from the front of the bin, resulting in the waste not being lifted as high.
This hybrid hospital sack holder features a leakproof tray to catch any leaks from bag punctures or an overfilled bin. This feature is only on our removable body bins.
Choose your lid and base colour
Choose from a range of clinical and domestic colour choices to show your chosen waste stream on the lid and base of the bin.
Choose your body colour
Once you have chosen your lid and base colour, choose which colour body you require. The plastisol body is available in white or mushroom, or you can opt for our transparent body for use with collecting recyclables.
Choose a hands free frame
A hands free frame can be added to the bin to stop users from accessing the lid with their hands, thus reducing the risk of harmful bacteria spreading on the surface of the bin.
Choose optional vinyl lettering
You can also choose to have optional vinyl artwork to the top of the lid to specify ‘CLINICAL WASTE ONLY’ or ‘DOMESTIC WASTE ONLY’. Alternatively, add our magnetic waste labels to the top of your bin to interchange the waste stream.
Choose a soft closing lid
To ensure a soft and quiet close, add our soft closing lid option to this bin. The mechanism to enable this feature is a gas strut added to the back of the bin which stops the lid from slamming down. Please note that this feature cannot be retrofitted to a fixed body sackholder once it has been manufactured; this needs to be included at the point of purchase.
Choose a front opening body
Due to the large capacity of this bin, you can choose to add a front opening body to aid manual handling. This allows the bin to be emptied via the front of the unit, instead of the waste bag being lifted from the top.
Choose a wheelchair ramp
For areas that require special access, we can also fit a wheelchair ramp to this unit to enable users to roll over the pedal to open the bin.
This medical sack holder has been specifically developed for use with clinical and domestic waste. We have been manufacturing sack holders for hospitals and healthcare environments since 1973 and we’ve held the contract for the NHS framework since 1998, so you can be assured that these bins are fit for purpose!
As with all Wybone sack holders, this clinical waste bin is anti-microbial coated to reduce any risk of harmful bacteria spreading on the surface of the bin. This anti-bacterial feature comes as standard with our sackholders and uses our Bactiban, silver-ion antibacterial coating to absorb and destroy harmful bacterium.
This clinical waste sack holder features easy, wipe-clean surfaces in order to adhere to infection control guidelines. To effectively clean this bin, we recommend hot soapy water is used – no need for harsh chemicals!
This 80 Litre Hybrid Hospital Sack Holder offers a medium capacity unit ideal for areas such as waiting rooms, treatment areas and toilets. Integrated castors are built into the base of the unit for ease of manoeuvrability.
