Our flagship BMB2/40 Barnsley Litter Bin has a 112-litre capacity with a galvanised steel body, providing excellent durability with a range of customisation options.
The BMB2/40 Barnsley Litter Bin is one of Wybone’s flagship products. Manufactured from 2mm hot-dipped galvanised steel, these units are extremely durable with rust and corrosion resistance, allowing them to remain in situ all year round. This means little maintenance is required, helping you save on long-term costs.
Each unit is powder coated in your choice of RAL colour, providing an additional protective barrier against scuffs and abrasions.
This litter bin comes with four open apertures to each side, making waste disposal effortless. The front-opening door gives operators easy access to the internal liner, making emptying quick and easy.

All of our products come with a 2 year parts and labour guarantee as standard.
Our Galvanised steel products feature a 12 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC. We estimate that this item will be with you within TBC from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.
This litter bin is manufactured from 2mm hot dipped galvanised steel, primed and powder coated in your choice of RAL colour. Two large apertures to the front and back of the bin are large enough to fit a pizza box, with internal litter deflectors to ensure waste goes inside the liner. The standard lid option is slightly kinked to allow rainwater to run off and comes at no extra cost.
As with all Wybone galvanised steel litter bins, the Barnsley Bin comes with a standard 2 year parts and labour guarantee and a 12 year anti-perforation warranty; this guarantees the surface of the litter bin from rusting through completely. You can read the advantages of galvanised steel here.
The 112 litre capacity provides an ideal litter solution for councils and on-street litter collection. This bin comes with a pre-drilled base for ground fixing; we recommend using RAWL bolts but we do have other fixing options available.
The BMB2/40 Barnsley litter bin comes with a stainless steel slam lock as standard, and can be opened using the included Budget Lock Key. The internal L1 Galvanised Steel Liner can be easily pulled out and emptied using the two handles on the exterior.
The Barnsley Bin comes with a range of optional extras, and can be completely tailored to suit your design and functionality needs! With this BMB2/40 Barnsley Bin you can choose which lid you would like. A flat lid comes as standard, or you can upgrade to a slight peaked or peaked lid. A choice of smoking and gum options can be fitted to the top of the bin to ensure that those areas where smoking is permitted can be kept clean and tidy of cigarette ends.
Our most popular colour is black, but this bin can be powder coated in any of our standard steel powder coating colours. You can also customise your bin with vinyl or laser cut text or for a more traditional look, you can add vinyl or steel beading to the top and bottom of the bin.
Advertising is a great way to recoup the costs of new bins. You could opt for advertising panels that are cut out of the bin to hold an advert inside, with a sheet of polycarbonate to the front to protect the posters. Alternatively, advertising frames can be fitted to allow posters to be regularly changed by simply un-clipping the sides of the frame; this can be done quickly and easily without having to open the bin. Both of these options are available in an A4 or A3 size.
