The WTS/8 Double Iroko Wood Litter & Recycling Bin
Our WTS/8 range perfectly demonstrates why wood is a great choice for an outdoor bin.
Found in Africa, Iroko hardwood is an exotic and eye-catching material that makes our WTS/8 range so special. This wooden bin provides a subtle, sophisticated look that compliments any modern or historic park or town.
The frame of the bin is manufactured from hot-dipped galvanised material, so you don’t have to worry about corrosion or rust impacting your unit. The Iroko wood that gives this bin its unique look comes with fantastic durable properties.
This WTS/8 unit comes with two separate waste streams to prevent cross-contamination, all while offering a generous 196-litre waste capacity to reduce frequent emptying.
This Wybone wood litter & recycling bin comes with four open apertures to make litter throwing simple. What’s more, this wooden bin comes with a pre-drilled base and a galvanised steel internal liner with exterior handles so you can install and empty the bin with ease.
This bin also comes as a single unit for a more subtle design or a triple unit for even more waste capacity.
Please note: As this bin is made of wood, we recommend inspecting your unit every 6 months, or more if it is placed in busy areas.

Many wood types have sturdy, durable attributes. And the Iroko hardwood we use for our WTS/8 bins is no exception. If you’re looking for a bin that’ll serve you and your local area for a long time, they’ve got you covered.

Wooden bins are a popular choice because not only do they look great with their natural, sleek shine, but they also provide longevity thanks to the sturdy, durable features wood contains. Wooden bins are also eco-friendly, so you know you’re doing your part for the environment with these units.
Iroko hardwood is a popular choice because of its stability and durability. Found in Africa, Iroko wood is ideal for outdoor products thanks to its protection against fungus and rot. Beyond that, Iroko wood offers a beautiful, sleek finish that’s compatible with historic and modern areas, making it a great material for outdoor bins and park benches.
When it comes to Iroko wood, we recommend cleaning it every 6 months to maintain its beautiful, sleek finish. However, you can clean it on a more regular basis if you wish. Be careful not to use a high-pressure wash as this can damage the wood fibres. Instead, use a soft, moist cloth (where possible) and scrub gently.
Along with its strong and robust design, Iroko wood is rot-proof. It’s safe to say insects leave this wood well alone.
For the standard WTS/8 Double Litter Bin, we use 2 x L1 galvanised steel liner.
For the slimline WTS/8 Double Litter Bin, we use 2 x L72 galvanised steel liner.
