The RLA/6 is manufactured using decorative wooden slats for the door, reinforced with a glass fibre composite body. Beyond its gorgeous style is excellent durability, perfect for outdoor settings. Glass fibre composite is resistant to weather corrosion and rust-related damages. Please note: As this bin includes wood, we recommend inspecting your unit every 6 months, or more if it is placed in busy areas

Customisation
The glass fibre body is available in a smooth or textured finish, with three wooden slat variations to choose from: clear, light and dark stain. We also provide different aperture options depending on your waste stream, as well as perspex plates that can be attached to the front of the unit to show what type of waste goes into each compartment.

All of our products come with a 2 year parts and labour guarantee as standard.
Our Galvanised steel products feature a 12 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC.
We estimate that this item will be with you within TBC from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.
This double recycling bin is manufactured from glass fibre composite with timber fronted slats. Our glass fibre is a technique exclusively developed by Wybone, whereby a core material is encapsulated using fire retardant glass fibre polyester resins. Glass fibre composite is ideally suited for street furniture due to its high impact strength and durability. It’s completely unaffected by extreme weather conditions and salt water, which allows the bin to be placed in a coastal or roadside location and remain intact for years. Glass fibre composite also has a low carbon footprint due to the longevity of the product.
The RLA/6 has two separate compartments giving a combined capacity of 196 litres split evenly between two waste streams. This moderate capacity unit can be configured to collect general waste, mixed recycling or individual recycling streams such as cans, plastic bottles or mixed glass.
Glass fibre composite is known for its durability. Our GFC bins can last in excess of 40 years in situ.
To demonstrate the toughness of our glass fibre composite bins in Wybone fashion, we created the Wybone hammer test.
This bin comes with a choice of a textured or smooth finish; our standard finish is a PTX textured paint that gives a rough ‘sandpaper’ like textured finish, designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters being applied. The smooth option offers a pseudo-cast iron finish with only a slight texture and no roughness.
This RLA/6 Recycling Bin perfectly blends in to woodland environments such as parks and green spaces, playgrounds and shopping centres.
The large capacity means that this bin can be placed in busy public areas such as visitor attractions and towns.
Two L12 galvanised steel liners are integrated to the front panel sections, which are both lockable, featuring budget locks as standard. The liners are fitted with two handles to the exterior to make emptying easier and aid manual handling.
As with all Wybone bins, the RLA comes with a 2-year parts and labour guarantee as standard.
