The RLA/6 is a double timber fronted litter bin, ideal for collecting two waste streams in one unit. Manufactured from a combination of durable glass fibre composite and wood cladding, this bin provides a durable unit, ideal for use in parks and playgrounds.
This timber front litter and recycling bin is manufactured from glass fibre composite, a durable and combination of a wooden carcass sprayed with a fibre glass resin that offers excellent resistance against deliberate damage and will never rust. The glass fibre frame is offered in a range of colours and finishes, and the timber slats are available in a choice of light, dark or natural stain. Recycled plastic slats are also available to offer a maintenance free option with a lower carbon footprint.
You can choose from general waste or recycling apertures to collect your chosen waste streams and you can add optional Perspex plates to display artwork or recycling iconography to ensure the correct waste is deposited, reducing the risk of contamination.
Shaped apertures also encourage the correct use and galvanised liners attached to the front panels make emptying an easy task.
All of our products come with a 1 year parts and labour guarantee as standard.
Our Galvanised steel products feature a 10 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC.
We estimate that this item will be with you within 3 weeks from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.
This double recycling bin is manufactured from glass fibre composite with timber fronted slats. Our glass fibre is a technique exclusively developed by Wybone, whereby a core material is encapsulated using fire retardant glass fibre polyester resins. Take a look at our GFC production video to see how our bins are made.
Glass fibre composite is ideally suited for street furniture due to its high impact strength and durability. It’s completely unaffected by extreme weather conditions and salt water, which allows the bin to be placed in a coastal or roadside location and remain intact for years. Glass fibre composite also has a low carbon footprint due to the longevity of the product.
The RLA/6 has two separate compartments giving a combined capacity of 196 litres split evenly between two waste streams. This moderate capacity unit can be configured to collect general waste, mixed recycling or individual recycling streams such as cans, plastic bottles or mixed glass.
This bin comes with a choice of a textured or smooth finish; our standard finish is a PTX textured paint that gives a rough ‘sandpaper’ like textured finish, designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters being applied. The smooth option offers a pseudo-cast iron finish with only a slight texture and no roughness.
The front timber slats can be manufactured from Shiplap, Iroko or wood effect Recycled Plastic in a range of finishes including light, dark and natural. Please note: wood is a natural product and will require routine maintenance typically after 1 years’ service.
This RLA/6 Recycling Bin perfectly blends in to woodland environments such as parks and green spaces, playgrounds and shopping centres.
The large capacity means that this bin can be placed in busy public areas such as visitor attractions and towns.
Two L12 galvanised steel liners are integrated to the front panel sections, which are both lockable, featuring budget locks as standard. The liners are fitted with two handles to the exterior to make emptying easier and aid manual handling.
As with all Wybone bins, the RLA comes with a 1 year parts and labour guarantee as standard. Please note: wood is a natural product and will require routine maintenance typically after 1 years’ service.
This recycling bin is available with a choice of four apertures; standard, circular, slot and London Underground to collect your chosen waste streams. In order to keep the waste segregated, we suggest additional waste stream dividers to prevent cross contamination. A4 perspex plates can also be fitted to the front of the unit to emphasise the waste streams and make it clear before the unit is approached.
