The LBV/7 Semi-Open Top Litter Bin comes with a 112-litre capacity, manufactured from glass fibre composite (GFC) for extreme toughness – our GFC litter bins can remain outdoors in situ for over 40 years with minimal damage. This unit has two apertures to both sides with a front-opening door where you can pull out the internal liner, making emptying quick and easy.
The LBV/7 is highly customisable, you can choose from a range of body colours and finishes, with optional birds flaps, a stubber plate and a gum chute.

All of our products come with a 2 year parts and labour guarantee as standard.
Our Galvanised steel products feature a 12 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC.

This bin is manufactured from glass fibre composite (GFC); using a technique exclusively developed by Wybone, where a shaped wooden carcass is sprayed with fire retardant glass fibre polyester resins to produce a hardwearing unit that will never rust. Glass fibre products offer substantial fire protection, conforming to BS 476 Part 7 and Part 6, fire rated at Class 1/0 Building Regulations. GFC also has a small carbon footprint due to the longevity of the product.
The LBV/7 is manufactured from glass fibre composite, which comes in a choice of finishes and colours.
Our standard finish is a PTX textured paint that gives a rough ‘sandpaper’ like textured finish, designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters being applied.
You could opt for a smoother pseudo-cast iron finish with only a slight texture and no roughness, or a Victoriana finish, which is the smoother option with only a slight texture and no roughness, with the addition of highlighted beading in gold or silver as standard.
The glass fibre manufacture makes this litter bin ideal for seaside towns as it’s unaffected by extreme weather conditions and salt water. The Victoriana finish gives a traditional look, which is perfect for heritage sites and town centres.
The LBV/7 is designed with pre-drilled holes in four corners of the base for ground fixing – we recommend using RAWL bolts. These bolts are inserted into the ground where the bin is due to be installed; the bolts are then screwed on inside the unit. Unlike a permanent ground fixing, RAWL bolts allow street furniture to be moved easily.
The LBV/7 features a budget lock as standard, you can upgrade to a slam lock if required which locks the door automatically. Simply unlock the door on the side of the unit using a budget lock key which is provided, and remove the internal L17 Galvanised Steel Liner that can collect up to 112 litres of waste – this has two handles to make emptying an easier task.
The LBV/7 comes with a moulded ‘LITTER’ plate to the front and back as standard, available in gold or silver. Optional stubber plates can be fitted to prevent cigarettes being stubbed out on the lid of the bin. Additional aperture flaps can also be affixed to stop animals getting inside the unit.
