The MLB/112 Steel Litter Bin
Metallic bins offer transformative, modern on-street litter solutions, especially when the bin sports a bulky feel. This is exactly what our MLB/112 Steel Litter Bin provides.
Manufactured using 2mm hot-dipped galvanised steel and powder coated in your choice of RAL colour, this bin does everything a bin should do: remain unscathed by rust and corrosion while allowing for plenty of waste. Its modern, slick design and 112-litre size are just the cherry on top.
Each side of the 112-litre steel bin contains four large apertures for effortless waste disposal – there’s no excuse for litter to miss the opening of this unit! The MLB/112 also contains internal litter deflectors to ensure waste goes inside the internal steel liner.
It wouldn’t be a Wybone bin without customisation. You can choose from various body colours, lid types (including a pitched lid to prevent rainwater from settling on top), ashtray options, text options, artwork and more. Make your bin your very own.

All of our products come with a 1 year parts and labour guarantee as standard.
Our Galvanised steel products feature a 10 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC.
We estimate that this item will be with you within TBC from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.
This litter bin is manufactured from 2mm hot dipped galvanised steel, primed and powder coated in your choice of RAL colour. A large aperture to each side maximises the 112 litre capacity; we’ve reduced the internal litter deflectors to create the increased capacity. The large apertures are big enough to dispose of a 16 inch pizza box!
As with all Wybone galvanised steel litter bins, the MLB/112 comes with a standard 1 year parts and labour guarantee with a 10 year anti-perforation warranty; this guarantees the surface of the litter bin from rusting through completely. The MLB/112 comes with a slam lock as standard, and can be opened using a T shaped universal Budget Lock Key. The internal L1 Galvanised Steel Liner features handles on two sides to make removing and emptying a more convenient task. Once the bin has been emptied, a gentle push on the door will lock it in place.
We offer a flexibility rarely seen in the manufacturing industry; this enables us to meet our customers’ requirements. Shaped apertures can help the user identify what waste should be deposited, with optional artwork available to promote recycling. We offer all standard WRAP iconography but if you’re looking for something bespoke, we have the design team to do so – just let us know what you require!
Additional extras include steel beading riveted onto the bin powder coated in gold as standard, or decorative perforations that have been punched out of all sides to discourage fly posting. If you’re thinking of using your litter bins for advertising, we can simply fit a frame to the bin where artwork can be clipped into place. You could opt for advertising panels that are cut out of the bin with a pocket to hold an advert inside with a sheet of polycarbonate. Both of these are available in an A3 or A4 size.
The large capacity is ideal for busy environments where it may not be easy to empty on a regular basis, such as shopping centres, schools, and on streets. This litter bin gives a contemporary look and feel, making it the ideal choice for councils in modern areas. This bin also comes with a pre-drilled base for ground fixing; we recommend using RAWL bolts but we do have other fixing options available.
