The MLB/90 Steel Litter Bin
Manufactured using 2mm hot-dipped galvanised steel, this dual outdoor litter bin is packed with rust and corrosion resistance, reinforced by excellent durability. The 90-litre capacity provides generous waste capacity within a slimline design that’s perfect for narrow spaces and areas with reduced space.
All our metal bins are powder coated using a colour of your choice, and our MLB/90 is no exception. Powder coating forms a protective finish that’s tougher than conventional paint – it provides enhanced shielding against knocks and scrapes.
With a range of styled apertures to choose from, the added internal litter deflectors ensures all waste goes correctly into the litter bin.

Our Galvanised steel products feature a 12 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC.
We estimate that this item will be with you within TBC from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.

As with all Wybone galvanised steel litter bins, the MLB/90 comes with a standard 1 year parts and labour guarantee with a 10 year anti-perforation warranty; this guarantees the surface of the litter bin from rusting through completely. The bin is opened using a front opening door, which is fitted with a stainless steel slam lock for quick access and a full length stainless steel rod hinge. Unlocked with a Budget Lock Key, the door simply needs to be pushed shut to automatically lock again; this saves time for operatives and gives peace of mind that the door will not be left unlocked by mistake.
A handle is fitted to the front of the liner to make removing rubbish from the bin a simple task. Internal litter deflectors make sure that all waste is directed inside the liner via the extra large apertures to the front and back of the unit.
Choose from a smooth or textured finish and powder coating in any standard RAL colour. Many councils add gold banding to the top and bottom of the unit and a matching gold Tidyman logo to display the waste stream. You can choose from vinyl or laser cut artwork to personalise this bin.
A range of ashtray choices can be added to the bin to encourage people to stub out their cigarettes and dispose of them correctly, you can even add dimples to the sides of this bin to discourage fly posting and anti-social behaviour.
The large capacity is ideal for busy environments where it may not be easy to empty on a regular basis; areas such as busy city centres and pedestrian areas, as well as parks and recreational sites. This bin also comes with a pre-drilled base for ground fixing; we recommend using RAWL bolts but we do have other fixing options available.

Powder coating is a preferable option compared to traditional liquid paint because, once the coating has been cured, it forms a protective barrier on the applied unit, far more durable than a unit that’s coated with liquid paint. Its solid texture means it has higher resistance against scuffs, scratches, corrosion and colour discolouration/fading.
For our outdoor litter bins, this is crucial. Our steel litter bins are manufactured using galvanised steel – this already provides excellent durability. But the powder-coated finish offers that additional protective barrier, ensuring our bins are left unharmed by extreme weather and frequent use.
Powder coating is an environmentally friendly process because excess powder can be recycled and reused for future applications, significantly minimising waste. At Wybone, we powder coat all our steel products in a sealed environment, reducing the risk of air pollution.
Powder coating also contains reduced volatile organic compounds (VOCs) when compared to other coatings like paint. These are harmful gases that are formed by high vapour pressure that can irritate the eyes, nose and throat of those that are frequently exposed to these tools.
Since powder coating has the added benefits of durability and versatility, this contributes to the longevity of the unit it’s applied to. This means you’re less likely to empty your wallets to fix or replace a damaged product. In fact, we’re so confident in our powder coating process, we offer a 10-year anti-perforation warranty on all our steel litter bins.
Powder coating is also more time-efficient compared to liquid paint – it can be applied and finished in just one application. Paint, however, would likely need multiple coatings for a full application finish.
