MV/40 Square Litter Bin

This bin is manufactured from 2mm hot dipped galvanised steel, expertly primed and powder coated in black with a stainless steel rod hinge. The standard lid is slightly kinked and raised to allow rainwater to run off, this is included in the cost of the unit.

The MV/40 has a 112 litre capacity and four large apertures to maximise litter collection, with a curved design not often seen on standard litter bins. These apertures are large enough to fit a 12-inch pizza box!

All our products come with a 2 year parts and labour guarantee. Our galvanised steel units come with a 12 year anti-perforation warranty.

We recommend placing this bin outside of shopping centres, schools, and on streets; it gives a contemporary look and feel, making it an ideal choice for councils in modern areas.

This bin comes with a pre-drilled base for ground fixing; we recommend using RAWL bolts but we do have other fixing options available.

Simply unlock the front opening door using the Budget Lock Key and pull out the internal L17 Galvanised Steel Liner, this has two handles to the exterior to make emptying an easier task. This bin is fitted with a hinged self-locking door, so you don’t have to worry about locking the unit once you have finished emptying.

Our full range of ashtrays can be fitted to the top of the bin to ensure that those areas where smoking is permitted can be kept clean and tidy of cigarette ends. Our most popular colour is black, but this bin can be powder coated in any of our standard steel powder coating colours.

This bin comes with a choice of optional extras such as steel beading riveted onto the bin and powder coated in gold as standard, or decorative perforations that have been punched out of all sides to discourage fly posting.

Advertising is a great way to recoup the costs of new bins. You could opt for advertising panels that are cut out of the bin to hold an advert inside, with a sheet of polycarbonate to the front to protect the posters. Alternatively, advertising frames can be fitted to allow posters to be regularly changed by simply un-clipping the sides of the frame; this can be done quickly and easily without having to open the bin. Both of these options are available in an A4 or A3 size.
