Its soft-closing lid ensures that it closes quietly and smoothly, preventing sudden slams and reducing noise pollution, while also maintaining a secure seal to contain odours. Encased in fire-retardant glass fibre polyester resins, the wooden core ensures fire protection conforming to BS 476 Part 7 and Part 6, achieving a Class 1/0 Building Regulations rating.
