This RG/6 Retro Grit Bin in Off White is part of a new heritage range from Wybone, manufactured with style and durability in mind. Heritage towns and beautifully landscaped areas benefit from the soft pastel shades giving a touch of elegance to grit, sand and salt storage.
Each unit is expertly manufactured from glass reinforced plastic, giving a level of durability and toughness that can’t be found in cheaper plastic units. The smooth, wipe-clean surface of the pastel grit bin makes it easy to maintain, and the single-skin glass reinforced plastic material is ideally suited for grit, sand or salt storage.
The nature of the glass reinforced plastic ensures that the salt and adverse weather will not corrode the unit, so it will maintain its shiny exterior throughout its lifetime. These RG/6 Retro Grit Bins are UV stabilised to ensure no discolouration or deterioration through long term exposure to the elements, meaning they can remain in-situ all year round.
The sloped lid of the unit prevents heavy snow and ice from building up and deters people from leaving rubbish or debris on top of the bin. Fitted with stainless steel hinges to allow the front opening door to be completely lifted and leaned back on the top of the unit; this makes filling and emptying the unit a simple task.

Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.
The RG/6 Retro Grit Bin – Off White unit looks at home in floral landscapes, garden centres and old market towns. The off white shade adds a retro feel to its surroundings and allows the grit bin to look more like a feature piece than a functional salt storage unit.

We like to think outside the box bin at Wybone and we have some great alternative ideas for your Retro Grit Bin. Fill with soil and plant your favourite flowers for a repurposed planter or use it for growing potatoes. The unit also has the perfect capacity and insulation for filling with ice and cold drinks for summer garden parties. We even use them for log storage!
