This Rocket Capsule Plastic Clinical Waste Bin features a colourful and exciting vinyl artwork to make hospital bins more visually appealing when placed on children’s wards.
This large plastic clinical waste bin is specifically manufactured for the NHS. Produced completely from hard wearing plastic, it is easy to clean and has only a small footprint, so is great for hospitals and clinics where space is at a premium; be sure to select the plastic body option to make this sackholder ideal for those areas sensitive to metal parts.
Available in a range of colours for the safe management of healthcare waste and correct disposal to stop any unnecessary healthcare waste costs.
This colourful rocket design was inspired by – and requested – by the team at University Hospitals South Manchester, who have a children’s ward that has a rocket and space theme.
The rounded plastic edges on the lid and base of these sackholders makes them ideal for use in environments where children are present and the addition of our soft closing lids ensures a gentle and quiet close.

This Rocket Capsule Plastic Clinical Waste Bin is easy to clean, with smooth, wipe clean surfaces and anti microbial coating that stops any harbouring of harmful bacteria. The expertly designed frame is solid and contains no sharp edges therefore removing any gaps where germs can be left to grow.
Soapy water or chlorine based cleaning products are suitable for cleaning your unit.
You can choose from a choice of three sizes for your Rocket Capsule Plastic Clinical Waste Bin. We recommend our 28 litre bin for small areas such as near toilets or in treatment rooms. Our 42 litre is a short but wide bin that can collect a moderate amount of waste before it needs to be emptied. We recommend these for communal areas and wards. Our largest bin in this range is the 80 litre clinical waste bin, which can collect a high volume of waste before it needs to be emptied and has an option for a front opening door to aid manual handling and reduce heavy lifting.
Included in the price of your bin is an optional lid and frame colour to match your chosen waste stream. You can choose a Tiger Stripe Lid for an additional £3 per unit.
As with all of our clinical waste bins, you can select your choice of body colour and add a soft closing lid to your bin. On the 80 litre size you can add our optional front opening body to stop the need for lifting the waste bag too high and simply pull it from the front of the bin instead. This reduces the risk of accidents with manual handling.
The optional wheelchair ramp can be chosen where special access to the bin is required. The metal ramp allows wheel chairs users to roll over it, forcing the pedal down and opening the lid for them. It’s simple and easy to use and ensures no touching of the bin lid.
