The Compass Litter Bin
The Compass Litter Bin is an outdoor plastic litter bin manufactured using polythene. This traditional heritage-style bin has been designed to offer a rotationally moulded polythene alternative to a cast iron bin and is ideal for heritage sites, towns and open spaces – this unit is widely adopted by councils and universities.
The Compass Litter Bin is a single, 112-litre unit with four open apertures to all four sides, allowing for easy waste disposal and generous waste capacity. This plastic bin has a full 90-degree opening door with an L1 galvanised steel liner inside, making the unit simple to empty.
Available in black, green or dark blue, this litter bin is embossed with a compass design that draws on British heritage and gives a unique, decorative finish that deters flyposting and graffiti thanks to its patterned surface. An optional ashtray top can be secured to the top of the bin, handy for areas with a high footfall.
Each bin comes as standard with vinyl banding to the top and bottom and LITTER lettering to all four sides. You can choose from gold or silver, depending on your colour scheme.

Our Galvanised steel products feature a 12 year anti-perforation warranty as standard. This guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely.
We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC.
We estimate that this item will be with you within TBC from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.
This litter bin is manufactured from polythene, with UV stabilised colour to ensure it will not fade over time. The bin has a full-length piano hinge opening door and multiple fixing points with no gaps, to prevent damage or vandalism. The door is double walled to give extra strength and is fitted with a stainless steel slam lock as standard. It is easily unlocked using a universal T shaped key and locks automatically when closed.
The material used is not painted and therefore has solid colour throughout, so it will not chip or scratch easily. The polyethylene is a non-corrosive material and will never rust or corrode.
This square polythene litter bin comes with an internal L1 Galvanised Steel Liner and the door has a full 90 degree opening, to give easy access for removing the waste. The liner can be easily pulled out using the convenient external handles and the bin will automatically lock when the door is closed.
The large 112-litre capacity is an ideal litter solution for councils and on-street litter collection. We also think they look great in parks and heritage sites. The gold or silver Victoriana style banding means this bin can fit within a range of locations.
The base of the bin comes pre-drilled for ground fixing; we recommend using RAWL bolts but we do have other fixing options available.
You can choose from three colours for your Compass Bin; black, blue or green. Each bin comes as standard with vinyl banding to the top and bottom and LITTER lettering to all four sides. You can choose from gold or silver, depending on your colour scheme. For smoking areas, you can opt for an ashtray to be fitted to the top.
Advertising is a great way to recoup the costs of new bins. Advertising frames can be fitted to the front, or all four sides. These can be interchanged with artwork or posters of your choice. The clip frames are easy to use, clean and they also keep the inner artwork dry.
As with all Wybone litter bins, the Compass Bin comes with a standard 1 year parts and labour guarantee.
