Torpedo Triple External Security Bin with Hood

This external recycling bin is manufactured from durable 2mm galvanised steel, primed and powder coated in your choice of RAL colour, and features a galvanised steel hood to protect the contents from rainwater. The magnetic catch double doors make this bin easy to open and quick to empty with a sloped lid that prevents any litter being left on top of the unit.

The transparent polycarbonate panels make the contents of the bin visible, allowing any suspect packages to be easily identified and immediately removed. The 2mm hot dipped galvanised steel ensures a secure manufacture and makes this bin difficult to damage.

The Torpedo Triple has a 162 litre capacity with three separate compartments and individual liners to collect your chosen waste stream.

Transparent units help to prevent cross contamination of waste, as people using the bin can immediately see what waste is being collected. Operatives and the public can also see how full each waste compartment is.

The Torpedo Triple External Security Recycling Bin is best suited for security sensitive environments such as airports, shopping centres and museums; the transparent panels make suspect packages easy to identify which provides a piece of mind for customers.

Unlock one side of the front opening doors using the thin Torpedo Key; the other side can be opened by releasing the door from the magnetic catch. Two L4 Galvanised Steel Liners and an L5 Galvanised Steel Liner in the centre of the unit can be easily pulled out using the exterior handles, this makes emptying an easier task. The Torpedo is fitted with a hinged self-locking door, so you don’t have to worry about locking this bin once you have finished emptying.

This bin is available in any of our standard powder coating colours, but our most popular colour is silver which has a subtle sparkle.

A curved back plate is also available as a message board, ideal for making waste streams visible from a distance. Castors can be fitted onto the galvanised steel internal liners to make manoeuvring waste both easy and convenient.
