This stylish recycling bin is our standard Torpedo Triple Recycling Bin design, featuring a hooded top for the collection and storage of food trays.
What is this bin manufactured from?
This bin is manufactured from 2mm hot dipped galvanised steel, expertly primed and powder coated in your choice of RAL colour; a sloped lid prevents any litter being left on top of the unit with a hooded top to collect food trays. Magnetic catch double doors make this bin easy to open and quick to empty, with nylon glides fitted to the base of the bin to stop any floor marking.

Does this bin come with any warranties?
As with all Wybone galvanised steel litter bins, this Torpedo bin comes with a standard 1 year parts and labour guarantee and a 10 year anti-perforation warranty, this guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely. You can read the advantages of galvanised steel here.
What capacity is this bin?
The Torpedo Triple with Tray Unit has a 162 litre capacity with three separate compartments to collect your chosen waste stream, keeping it segregated to avoid cross contamination. The large capacity makes this bin ideal for busy environments, collecting a substantial amount of waste before it needs to be emptied.
Where should I put this bin?
The stylish curved design and large capacity is ideal for contemporary interiors such as airports and shopping centres; the hooded top is ideal for food halls and canteens to collect and store food trays.
How do I empty this bin?
Unlock one side of the front opening doors using the thin Torpedo key, the other side can be opened by releasing the door from the magnetic catch. Two L4 Galvanised Steel Liners and an L5 Galvanised Steel Liner in the centre of the unit can be easily pulled out using the exterior handles, which makes emptying and refilling an easier task. This bin is fitted with a hinged self-locking door, so you don’t have to worry about locking this bin once you have finished emptying.
Can I customise this bin?
The Torpedo Triple is available with your choice of waste stream, which comes as standard with WRAP/Recycle Now branding to the aperture fascia plates. Whether you just want to add your own logo or you require bespoke artwork, we have the team to do it – just send us an email with your requirements.
Most of our Torpedo units are powder coated in our standard silver, however a large majority of our customers are now opting for a stylish matte black which is slightly textured and can prevent fly posting and vandalism. Take a look at our standard powder coating colours here.
As this recycling bin is ideally suited for canteens and food halls, a popular optional extra is a liquid collection tube to accompany the food waste aperture, which is fixed within the liner using magnets for easy emptying. Castors can also be fitted to the internal liners to aid manoeuvrability.

We manufacture all of our products from scratch at our factory in South Yorkshire. Each item is handcrafted to the highest specification, with lots of Wybone TLC. We estimate that this item will be with you within TBC from receipt of payment. Large quantity orders may be subject to an extended lead time during busy periods.
Orders placed before 1PM are processed the same working day, otherwise they are processed the next working day.
