News:

Moove over litter bins, we’ve refurbished glass fibre cows!

February 23, 2018

No two days are the same at Wybone, and we’ve had a crazy couple of weeks refurbishing two glass fibre cows for Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley.

The Cannon Hall cows were a customer favourite, a popular photo feature and opportunity for children to learn how to milk a cow. Unfortunately, as years passed by, the cows began to deteriorate and were eventually moved off the farm and into storage.

After an overwhelming amount of messages from their customers, the cows were assigned to us at the udder side of Barnsley for some Wybone TLC! They were delivered to our factory in a sorry state, their paint damaged and front legs missing.

Our skilled craftsmen worked until the cows came home, replacing both front legs and carefully repainting the cattle back to their former glory.

We personally delivered the cows back to Cannon Hall who were delighted with the outcome – we can’t wait to see them back in action on the farm, although we’ll definitely miss their company in the factory!

On a serious note, we’re milking this article to show that we offer a fantastic refurbishment service on our metal and glass fibre products.

The process is very thorough and leaves the bins looking brand new; so new in fact, that we’ve had to photograph the process for some of our customers, as they just couldn’t believe the end result was the same bin.

Refurbishing your existing bins not only saves you money but also benefits the environment; it prevents waste from going to landfill and saves material, as we don’t have to start from scratch and make completely new bins.
