Update 23/03/2020:

At present, we are focusing solely on our NHS customers in order to provide them with PPE bins which are so desperately needed. We hope that you will understand our position in this situation and you will bear with us for the manufacture of your order.

We’d like to reassure our customers that we are working hard to maintain our manufacturing and supply, and we are closely monitoring the situation, adhering to all government issued advice. We have a strong team in place and a business continuity plan outlining changes to business operations or in the effect of a closure.

We know that many of you may be experiencing the impact of the Coronavirus already or will be worried about what it could mean over the coming weeks. As always, our priority is the safety of our staff and our customers.

We want to update you on the steps we are taking here at Wybone to help minimise the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), and to assure you that we are following all the official guidance from Public Health England.

Business as Usual

Wybone is currently operating business as usual, with extra hygiene measures in place to ensure the safety of our staff and our customers.

We will be following government advice, ensuring that we update our customers if and when our position changes.

We have implemented business continuity plans to cater for any future staff absence and to ensure that our operating levels are maintained. It is our primary intention to maintain continuous supply into NHS organisations as needed.

At this time, we hope that you’ll support us and bear with us whilst we do what we can to provide support to the organisations who need it most, prioritising manufacture accordingly.

Supply Chain

As a manufacturer, we are maintaining a healthy level of supplies, and in some cases increased stock levels as a commitment to fulfil all orders and continue to meet our customers’ needs.

We are closely monitoring all stock levels and supporting our Supply Chain Team to appropriately manage and secure everything that we need.

Whilst some stock delays are inevitable, we are planning for this and hope that our customers will remain unaffected.

We are putting safety measures in place to guarantee the safety of our staff, customers and families. As such, we will be operating non-contact deliveries and we will not be carrying out any siting until further notice. Our drivers will continue to offer the same friendly delivery service that our customers expect, however we will not be asking our customers to sign for their deliveries. Instead, we would like your permission to do this on your behalf, once you have received your goods. We will only be delivering to goods inwards / stores departments or building entrances. Our staff will not enter any premises at this time.

We would like to limit our exposure and where possible do everything that we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Precautionary Measures

At our headquarters in Barnsley, we have introduced strict hand washing policies and are carrying out extensive regular cleaning.

Our staff have been provided with additional personal protective equipment such as gloves and hand sanitiser.

Visits to Wybone

For the foreseeable future, visitors will be asked not to arrive at our offices without an appointment. Any non-essential visits will be rescheduled.

External Sales Visits

We are committed to providing the best level of service that we can, however in these circumstances we are taking a responsible view and suggesting that any necessary meetings take place over the telephone.

In order to meet our customers’ needs, we will be offering video calls through FaceTime or Skype so that we can continue to offer product demonstrations and take part in meetings as needed.

We will continue to evolve in our business response to COVID-19 and will provide further updates as necessary.

Thank you for your support on behalf of everyone at Wybone.
