At Wybone, we strive to provide meaningful work placements for students to increase their skills and experience, to deliver additional social value.
We have recently hosted another two-week European Work Experience placement for two French students, Ugo and Matheo, as part of the Business and Education Together (B&E) programme. They manage a European student exchange programme between France and South Yorkshire.
Ugo and Matheo, who are currently studying fabrication and welding at their college, Institut des ressources industrielles, in France, have worked closely with our Sheet Metal Department, working on various orders. We wanted to give them first-hand experience on some of the exciting projects that we have been working on!
We’ve had positive feedback from both students who said they have really enjoyed their time at Wybone. We have loved having them here, and we very much look forward to working with more placement students in the future.
