Wybone goes the extra mile for charity fundraiser

February 20, 2017

Santa Letterbox We worked with Nottingham City Council to make Children’s dreams come true with a letterbox to Santa this Christmas.

Paul Gee raises money for When You Wish Upon a Star, a charity that grants the wishes of children living with life threatening illnesses. At Christmas time, he decorates the inside and outside of his house and dresses up as Santa to raise money for the charity.

Whenever children visit Mr Gee, they would always ask if they could post their letters to Santa. This being the reason why he contacted his local council, enquiring whether he could buy a dog waste bin and transform it into a letter box for those children.

John Marsh and Mick Walker from Nottingham City Council contacted us at Wybone and told us about Mr Gee’s heart-warming request. We’re always willing to help, so we manufactured and donated a large letterbox, we even painted it red and added vinyl lettering.

John Marsh recently contacted us to say: “Mr Gee would like to send a big thank you to Wybone and Nottingham City Council for going the extra mile!”

We’re glad that that the Council and Mr Gee loved the letterbox as much as we do, and we wish him all the best with his fundraising!
