Wybone siting sackholders in Scotland again!August 21, 2019
We’ve recently conducted a siting project in Scotland, delivering our all plastic sackholders to the newly built East Lothian Community Hospital.
The Scottish health board placed the large orders to kit out a new build hospital in East Lothian. The £70 million construction will see a modern and purpose-built hospital developed, helping to improve the quality of care for the people of East Lothian – with a 60% increase in inpatient beds.
Our hardworking drivers made the long journey from our factory in Barnsley all the way to Haddington, which is just outside of Edinburgh. A Wybone siting involves delivering, unpacking and distributing the bins – as well as taking away all the packaging to be recycled. We put in the work, so you don’t have to!
We’re registered on the Health Facilities Scotland framework; this framework allows other organisations to order medical and cleaning equipment from a recognised supplier.
Construction on the new East Lothian Community Hospital began in October 2016 and will be built on the site of the current Roodlands Hospital in Haddington. The state-of-the-art hospital is due to be completed at the end of the Summer.
Rebecca Murray, Assistant Project Manager sent us some great feedback from the siting. “Please pass on our thanks to Mick, Phil and Rhys for their hard work on site. Nothing has been a bother and they were really lovely – it is important to pass this on to you, as I hope they receive recognition for a job exceeded.
They have been in communication throughout the project and there have been no problems or concerns. For us, to be able to leave a team to get on with the work, and know it is getting done right, it is a big help. We hope to see them on site again for another project!”
